These eggs were actually not edible anymore! We kept them in an incubator for over 2o days turning them twice a day. We started with around 27 eggs. Can you guess how many hatched baby chicks? Four! At first we couldn't tell how many roosters and how many hens there were. It took quite awhile to tell. We ended up with 2 of each. We decided to give them back to the chicken lady who let us have them because....... they go to the bathroom sooooooo much. It was a lot to clean up. They were always causing trouble by getting their water and food dirty. But, they sure were cute! Thursday, May 6, 2010
The Incredible Edible Eggs (or not)
